About MARHAZ
MARHAZ is a private limited company (ApS) registered in Denmark with CVR/VAT 39618281. It is owned by the two partners Mr. Svend B. Overgaard and Dr. Frank Stuer-Lauridsen, whom have worked with environmentally related issues in the maritime sector for more than a decade having long track records within ship recycling.
MARHAZ takes pride in delivering an efficient and seamless experience to your IHM compliance efforts, utilising class certified HazMat Experts only. We work smart to reduce IHM expenses based on your vessel’s profile and cutting-edge on-site technology to achieve our trademark level of quality.
Surveyor Reach
The bulk of MARHAZ’ surveyors are based in Europe and we service ships calling all European and Turkish ports at a fixed price including travel and laboratory expenses.
For ships operating outside Europe, we utilise handpicked experienced partners, operating from key hubs to ensure fast mobilisation at a competitive price.
Vessel capacity
MARHAZ can currently process approximately 400 vessels annually. We are continuously looking to expand our IHM capacity and if you are an experienced and certified HazMat Expert, you’re welcome to contact us.
MARHAZ - Approved Service Supplier
MARHAZ operates after the ISO 17020 management system and use accredited laboratories according to EN ISO/1EC 17025:2005 or similar.
MARHAZ is an approved service supplier with below classification societies. Click on your preferred class for download of our valid supplier certificate.
If your class is not on the list, contact us at info@marhaz.com. We will pursue approval with other classification societies, when needed, and have all the paperwork ready to ensure a swift certification process.
